"Each weekday, Meals on Wheels of Durham, Inc. provides a hot, home delivered meal consisting of 1/3 the minimum nutritional requirements for adults, to Durham County residents who are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.

Recipients may be elderly, disabled, blind, convalescing or malnourished. They may be homebound or living alone. The service is available to people of all income levels and age groups, either on a temporary or permanent basis.

Meals on Wheels of Durham provides service to eligible applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, handicap, or political affiliation."
